The Glenn Miller Story is a 1954 American biographical film about the American trombonist and bandleader Glenn Miller, directed by Anthony Mann. It stars James Stewart as Miller, alongside June Allyson. The film was first shown to the public in January 1954 and was nominated for three Academy Awards, winning for Best Sound Recording.
